PS: Hi everyone
Gud moaning

I'm fearing of for my spinal column.
Incurred an injury (as before mentioned) but it's becoming progressively worse.
Just hope a doc can sort me out.

Chances are its something like sciatica. I have suffered from it all my life, its only in the last few years gotten worse, exercises helps = stretching and things like pilates and yoga is helpful

My goodness. I just hope it isn't as bad as it feels.
I stretch often; here at work, when I'm at home, etc. Getting up from bed in the morning is a m***se challenge for me.

Ouch, hopefully they can, must be horrible...

It is quite bad, but I push through, despite the pain.

Just what ever you do dont let them operate on it unless it will lead to paralysis. Because all the people I have spoken to tells me that the problems just got worse after their ops.

I even have disk wear - where the cushions between bones is wearing away due to injuries as a kid - people dont let your kids become gymnasts. It fucks your body up more than you realise especially the older you get.

I really do not hope it amounts to an op. I do not want to go for an op; not because of surgery, but because of inclusive costs.

Maybe go see a chiropractor? I had some hectic lower back issues for a while, and the chiro sorted me out. If things are out of alignment, it's ridiculously painful and doesn't just come right by itself.

If this method can help I will appreciate it. I'm almost immobile at times; having to force myself to do things - sometimes even walking.

Sounds familiar. I was struggling to do anything, getting in and out of a car was torture, I had to roll out of bed because I couldn't sit up properly. The chiro did send me for x-rays to make sure I didn't have a slipped disk or something that she could injure worse, which I didn't, but my vertebrae and hips were out of alignment to the extent that apparently my legs were different lengths. Came right with some adjustments (spine cracking), and she did dry needling (like acupuncture) to ease the muscle spasms.

One tip she gave me that helps a lot when my back gets sore is that people who work at a desk and therefore spend most of their time sitting tend to have lower back problems because their hamstrings shorten, and they pull on your lower back muscles. So try do a lot of hamstring stretching exercises, like lie on your back and loop a towel round your feet and hold on to the ends, then straighten your legs and pull the towel, or there was another one where you also lie on your back with one leg over the other knee, and then you grab the straight leg and pull it toward yourself.

Worth a try, a good chiropractor should be able to fix you up, or at least help with diagnosis and refer you to the right kind of doctor. Just ask around for a good one, if you get someone who doesn't know what they are doing, they can potentially injure you worse.

Men - if you knew there was a good chance of having sexy-time with a potential female partner, but you had to watch the Twilight saga first. Would you?

I loose faith in humanity and unisa when I read this: The question was to discuss your choice: The person's note aka discussion I cant even begin to understand

5. "It is for the sake of trivial gains that the world's affluent, and their governments and international organizations are keeping the poorer half in severe often life-threatening poverty." My personal opinion on this statement is most closely described by:
a. Rubbish!
b. "The only way to make money out of poor people is to keep them poor."
c. Who's to say what is trivial?
d. "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer"
e. We must mobilize ourselves and rebel against this unjust state of affairs.
Choice now: e
Choice in assignment 1: e
Notes: I believe if there was no poverty at all, then all least severe poverty that would jeopardize shows that for the sake of comparatively trivial gain, the world’s governments and we all are keeping billions trapped in life-threatening poverty.

I have no idea what I just read. Something about poverty. Do I win? I can has a cookie?

What all of them????

Would she be willing to sit through something like Star Wars, LOTR or something like that with you?

I wish I could tell you guys. The sad part is that is one of the better posts.

I am currently still busy doing the questionnaire and giving my notes. I just refuse to use their crappy critical thinking jargon

Actually I think some more insight into the situation would help with a decision. Is this like a test, or is it more like the girl's idea of a date? If it's a date, it may be a way to get you alone in a dark room, in which case you might not even have to watch much of it. If she's like I might consider some sexy time, but only if you sit through all the Twilight movies and you better enjoy them, then it may be a trap.
