Had a bad 'I'm going to prison' dream; was rather nonchalant within my dream, like I didn't give a damn what was going to happen to me.

I'm assuming you're driving a German automobile. Screw the Xenon and go Halogen (much cheaper). I have been using Osram Nightbreakers in my cars and bikes now for years and they are right on par with Xenon and LED lights.

Correct. I drive a BMW.

I'll take a look at the halogens. Thanks for the head's up!

And good morning TK!

Well my cab is on approx 86000 km's and a 2004 model, gone in for a service (of which cam belt will get replaced) today and quoted <R3000.

They've just called and said brake pads need to be replaced as well. #FML
It just gets better.

Owning a car is the best

I'm looking forward to receiving my quote on the car.

The thing is with it, you can't exactly tell them to hold off till next month or when you can afford it, cos you put your life in these machines. It's one of those things where you just have to bite the bullet, kak en betaal.

Kyk noord en vok voor (dis reg?)

Exactly. Got to bite the pillow cos they're going in dry.

Hopefully the parts giving me problems are covered by my third party warranty.

What is the average rate for PC maintenance?

Going to try and resolve booting issues of someone's PC later today.

It's family, so I don't want to go too apeshit with the pricing.
The more frustrating it proves, the more I'm going to charge. [emoji14]
It's family?! I hate those jobs. They expect it for free and you feel bad for charging. It's a loose loose scenario.

agree with Beo, family fixes are just about never a good thing :S Anything goes wrong after, it happened since YOU last worked on the pc.
