Thanks what happened to your Yorkie as 6 is very young?

She crawled through the water drainage hole to my neighbour's yard where their Jack Russel bit her on the side, crushing her ribs, lungs and heart. I found her lying on her side in the corner by the hole. I screamed and cried for an hour.

Just typing this is making me gulp the tears back again and I'm already sitting at work.

Quite a terrible thing to happen so young, luckily mine lived a full good life and died in his sleep so gave me a good feeling that we gave him everything that he wanted in life.

We usually always have bad luck with our pets so he was our oldest one we ever had :).

Right after the mission we had played as a team, this etter decides to gun me down and steal some of my cash. I respawned, saw his dot on the map but couldn't not see him - literally, and he gunned me down once more. Naturally I lost my sh*t and opened the text chat while the game was loading. Was at this point that I got the CTD.

Morning TK, I overslept, am grumpy and irritated with the http://www.egesa.co.za/ CAPE TOWN'S PREMIER ELECTRONICS & GAMING EXPO

I just heard from a friend who is a journalist that: none of the gaming distributors are going. . . .

Tickets will only go on sale on 11 May as well - maybe. . . .

As a result of port placement on my new motherboard, if I wish to have an SSD and my current drive running, I'm going to have to buy a DVD writer enclosure. My GPU cover 2 of the ports.

Is there such a thing as a SATA port multiplier/extender or is one SATA port only able to deliver power to one device?

If you get a 90' SATA connector will that work?

Morning all sitting in class and teacher mia.

It depends on your built in controller... My eSATA on my laptop does not have a port multiplier, but my desktop does. One of the internal SATA ports usually will be eSATA compatible, which would (I assume) be where your port multiplier would be, if it has it at all.

I can't say what you'd need to work with it though. I have an external dock with two drive bays that uses the port multiplier, but it has its own electronics inside, so I have my doubts it would just be a split cable...

What motherboard did you get?

A SATA data port doesn't deliver power, only data. And yes, one data port per drive only. You can get a PCI add-on card if you want more SATA ports.

Not sure which other motherboard manufacturers also do it, but I know Asus have their SATA ports perpendicular to the motherboard itself, so even when the GPU extends over the ports (which the higher end ones usually do) you can still plug the cable into the port.

its simple

sata is serial = Serial = very wide Single Lane freeway

Pata aka IDE is parallel = IDE = Double carriage way (master and slave) freeway thats narrow and congestion

sata cannot be dasychained and pata can only carry two devices per channel, SCSI can be daisychained but who still uses that "whistling:
