Enjoy the project. :) A guy was nice enough to write a series of articles for my website and I have to include them but I feel too lazy. So it'll just have to wait. It's just that time of the year.

Yesterday was crazy hot here. Luckily today it's nice and overcast. Well nice if you don't plan on having a braai.

Wow. What a day yesterday. I got up at 4am so I could be in Joburg at the hospital at 8am. I make it at 8:15am 'cause traffic, but the meds didn't arrive in time so my infusion only started at 11:45. Everything goes excellent from there; no reactions, no side-effects and I'm done at 6:15pm. We go have dinner and leave the magical wonderland of Jozi. When we hit Heidelberg, Mrs 44's phone rings.
My eldest lives and works in Jo'burg (Honneydew area) and she is borrowing my wife's car until she's properly settled and can afford her own transport. So she went to a shopping centre and when she walked back to the car she saw the reverse lights are on. And then she saw somebody in her car. And then the guy ran her over (she only got knocked over with the car, bruises and cuts, nothing serious, thank God).
Police with the help of a private security company found the car within an hour of it being stolen because FS number plates stands out in Gauteng (hats of to them, btw) but there is so much damage to the interior and grill, I think it's basically written off.

Wow dude I'm glad to hear your eldest is fine! Rather she be fine and the vehicle be f*cked than the other way round.

Sheesh Mister, that's terrible. :( I'm glad though that the medication had no side-effects and that everything went well.

As for your daughter, well that's just wrong. I can't believe that the criminal ran her over! I hope the car was insured. :( I also live in Honeydew so let me know if I can help you guys out. Especially if she needs a lift to work and back or anything like that. I've seen an FS car here on John Vorster quite often so I wonder if it's the same car.

Let me know if I can help out in any way.

Aggenee meneer that sucks big time

It does, but it could have been much worse. At least I have good insurance so we'll see what they say next week.

Absolutely. If she was a minute earlier out of the shops and if the guys were armed... Don't even want to think about it.

Mister, it looks like you missed my post. Just to let you know that I'm in Honeydew if you guys need any help.

*HUGE HUGS * let us know if we can help out in any way. I'm just happy to hear the hospital visit went well. And that your daughter is Ok.

Thanks, Soli. I did miss your post but everything is OK atm. We got the car towed by a registered towing company last night and they will keep it in their yard until the insurance guys can come take a look. As far as my daughter is concerned, the MD of of the company she works for has given her one of the company cars to use until we have everything sorted.

Okay good. Sheesh man, sorry to hear about these things. At which shopping centre did this happen if I may ask?

Thanks Wyv, but things are pretty much under control. My daughter is going to the Eastern Cape for work next week and I think that should help her get over the shock and stress at least. The company she works for is very close-knit and she's got a few friends in the area as well that will help her out.

The one thing I can say about the thieves are that they at least have some taste. My daughter is into Kurt Darren and Helmut Lotti (I tried my best raising her, I swear) and they left all her CDs. Only things taken from the car is her ID book and the radio.

I'm not entirely sure, things were a bit hectic last night so I didn't get the name. I know it's close to where she stays because she always gets her DVDs and last minute groceries there. I'll let you know when I get all the details for the insurance.

Wow! Have a lot to catch up on. Sorry been so quite everyone, work has been hectic!

Hi and bye BeoTek. Our load-shedding will start in few minutes so I'm going to use the opportunity go do some DIY projects I have lined up that doesn't require power tools.

Haha go mad mister44! Potato salad is done and ss gift is next to my pc. But now I need a nap I have a headache
