Bwahahahaha that is awesome dude.

Unfortunately the architects don't get it that easy, they need to attend seminars and a whole day one gives them 2 CPD points!

That sounds like a raw deal. If you spend the hours doing the training, you should get the CPD.

That being said, I should get CPD for all the interesting stuff I do in my day-to-day. All of that contributes to professional development (especially the research that goes into a lot of what I do). But I have no way of evidencing it. So I have to do silly courses to prove I know what I know.

Morning TK.

Got called out to work last night at half past 10. Only got back home after 2am. Fun times these, I really hope I don't get called again over the long weekend, as this is my "vacation" time, same as Beo :/

Aaah.. the joys of being in a demanding IT position and having servers that are required to be on and active for real-time claims/queries. Kinda on call 24/7/365 if you think about it.

Luckily I'm not in IT, I'm only on call 2weeks every 2months.

No such thing as a holiday in IT. Depending on your position.

Yeah well, worst position in the company in terms of demands/requirements. I work in an IT/Operations department. So even things like operations of the company, IE. generators, air-cons and phones. Along with all the computers, clients and servers between all branches.

Sometimes I think the only position ever available in IT is doggy-style.

Walk into store with a copy of The Anarchist Cookbook and a pen, making little check marks in the book each time you load something into the trolley.

Ain't it ironic; our local crematorium burnt down this morning.

At least a few family will get their services on the house.
