Now I can't complain about being at work again, so I'll go with only a few days left before the young one comes, so the uncertainty of that is killing me :eek:

Well, we officially have an office for our new company starting today. The devs are still working from my colleague's home for this week while the office is made work-ready. Me? I'm finishing off my holiday in Cape Town this week and will be back at work next week.

Still a bit stressed as people tend to NOT pay for work you've already done. If we don't get payment (and new work) by the end of this month we'll also be forced to close down.
 
I am on bizcommunity, pnet just drove me nuts, plus checking everywhere in papers for posts - this is the time of year I might get lucky.

My holiday got seriously side-tracked. I have been offered a position in Cape Town that I'm seriously considering, providing I can find employment for my wife. I had to drive to the Northern Cape shortly after arriving in CPT to attend the funeral of a family member. My son is teething, so the drive down and up was filled with screaming or silence (nothing in-between). Christmas was bleh, NYE was odd. i ended up rather opting to not drink on NYE instead of paying uber high rates to Uber for getting us back home. Spending NYE sober while everyone else gets sloshed is a very interesting experience.
