in a nutshell they wanna know if I'm on board for going to CT so that my manager can vouch for me, but I unfortunately cannot commit to some of their requirements at this time (due to my circumstances), which then may determine the outcome.

Move. But I don't think I'll be able to commit to all the overtime (and/or after hours work or shift work). And this is where the complication comes. Being a single father with no support structure down there I can't say for certain whether I'll be able to commit 100% to that.

I've already told them, there's no way I'll be going back into support. I don't forsee this office running for more than a few more months. After my department moves, that leaves testing to move and then a little of support left (if they move) and that's that.
