Work mostly, gaming secondly.

Unfortunately I have to migrate about 4 physical servers to virtual machines, so I'll be busy.
 
Oh yay so I just got told we are moving the office to the house. . . aka I will just help out when needed, otherwise no more work for me. And havent heard a thing back so far from any of my applications

Shame hug wyvern I know once a office moves to the house not long after that it goes out of busness unless there is super hard work to get more work in.
Hope you find some other work soon :) Or you can come join me at soltech and study a trade and complete going in a diffrent direction in life.

I went to Capital Craft today and drank a metric fuck ton of beer. Also, something called Loaded Cannon from Boston Brewery. 10%. Shit smashes you between the eyes. Nice beer though.

Sorry to hear about that, it seems like it's tough every where these days. As for me my work contract expires in March and was due for renewal but they are closing our branch in the end of Feb, so I am being retrenched. Hoping I get paid out otherwise I will seek legal aid. My boss took a retrenchment package and I was offers a job at another branch but my college needs the money more than I do and I would be working to pay for transport costs. I won't loose sleep over it, sometimes life trips you up a little to keep you on your toes, from these experiences we shall gain some wisdom and insight and learn a few things too.
 
This is why I am considering and trying to stay with my current company and bite the bullet and relocate. I know my job should be secure with a company whose annual turnover is <500 mil euros.

Well for one I am not in those parts of Europe. Secondly I don't have blackouts. thirdly Crime here isn't like SA's. Fourthly there is a tone of Opportunities you don't get in SA.

And there is a thing called minimum wage here. Which you can live off.

Yep you are in the UK, many other European countries are borked - Greece is but one that comes to mind.

SA has crime - the threat of terrorism in Europe is very real now.

All I ask from you is a bit of balance - you were disillusioned when you left SA for a better life in the UK and I hope and pray it all works out for you.
