Apparently he's getting someone from Telkom out to look at it. He says they've tried everything and it doesn't work, but it registers on their side intermittently so it might be a problem with the cable or exchange or something.

Hope they find something still trying to get them to fix my line as it resyncs so often at night and everytime they come they do nothing.

Ya, seems with Telkom, it's luck of the draw as to if you get a techie who knows what he's doing. If you get someone good out, then you're in luck, if not, then you just have to try again until you do.

Yep last time it took 2 years to fix my latency problem and had to call the network manager of my area to resolve it was quite frustrating

Do yourself a favour, check your physical line and get the neighbours to check it on their properties as well. It was our issue - line drops, no syncing. . . And it was a line that was being destroyed by a tree. . . . Telkom replaced the whole line after a year of complaints

Maybe users can find an old thread and mark it at resolved? This way, if enough users have marked a thread, then the admin can take a look and be the final judge.

Ya don't take that thread as an example, I'm just saying if you guys want someone at MyGaming to lock old threads, they have to sit and read EVERY old thread and make a call as to if they should lock it or not. That is a moer of a lot of effort.

Either that or they would have to make a script to automatically lock all threads over a certain age, but some threads deserve to be resurrected.

Another way is to make it lock automatically if no one has posted it in a certain time frame and can be unlocked via admin if needed.

I know other forums have it not sure if it is possible here with the vb system.

Still seems like a mission but I guess if people want to make an update without bothering an admin, they could always start a fresh thread and link to the old one
