Beer is awesome, I will admit though, that for the last few years, I've drank red wine more often than beer, but sometimes, there's nothing better than a nice cold beer

An ice cold Whiskey (proper not the cheap rubbish) works wonders too ;)

But I also prefer a nice red wine above all else :D

Have you guys tried any of the Jack Black beers? Very expensive but so yummy. At least once a month I'll try a craft beer or two.

Now we're talking! Personally, I like to mix a shot of whiskey with a shot of amaretto (a Godfather), or a nice cabernet sauvignon merlot blend

yech, craft beers are pretentiously gross tasting. I've tasted about 15 or so (thanks hipsters, you fools) and I didn't like any of them. Very unnatural tasting to me.

Jack Black is one of my favorite craft beers. Speaking of, the Hogs Head there by Rock Cottage has a good selection of craft beers

Solitude - often, WAY too often :D CBC Brewery is around the corner so we tend to end up there a lot. Good day out though so no complaints from me!
murfle - hmmm must try the shot of amaretto.... Wine is a pain, I'm such a snob nowadays. Luckily I have contacts for the bottles I love so I get them much cheaper than the stores. The problem comes in when you buy a few and finish them in one weekend :(

I like the Aces Lager again. its doesn't have a very strong bitter taste which means I can have more than two :D

Wait. What??? Beer is the nectar of Deities!!!

I struggle to down a single beer. Sat once for over an hour with a single Heineken, years ago - t'was then that I realised beer is not my cuppa tea.

The taste is incredibly off-putting and the aftertaste does not do it any much justice. Cider or vodka and I'm sold.

I love my beer, but I am so fussy, only drink Windhoek or CBC, most craft beers are not my fav especially the honey malted stuff that is just gross. I also cannot drink IPA's

And then there's always Gilroy's down towards the N14, that guy makes really nice beer

Hmmm I've never been there. Will have to Google that. Apparently there's also some kind of Beer House or something like that in Fourways that I still have to go visit.

I don't know I don't like gilroys... the waiters at gilroys are quite cocky as well and we wont be going back there again. been there twice and both times the waiters tried to add extra beer on our tab and then also made a fuss about the tip

Here you go http://www.gilroybeers.co.za/, give it a go, it's a micro brewery / Irish pub.

I'm quite partial to the one called "Traditional", it's an Irish Red Ale, the others are good as well, they also have a dark ale, a pale ale and a lager

I'm like a freakin' TK Conversation Starter. :D

Make one mention of beer and it blows into a multiple page conversation... Lol.
