So, a client cancelled his services with us because he couldn't depend on us. Thing is, we've been begging him to sign the agreement and went ahead and did 70% of the work at our own risk. Now he's fed up because we can't commit to delivering 6 month's work in 9 days... :/

Does it make me a bad person for not caring about this?

To be honest, it doesn't sound like he was much of a client. If that is how he treated you, your time would be better spent targeting clients who pay for your time.

We decided to still invoice him for the time spent. We had an agreement for licensing income based on sales as soon as it's released, but seeing as how that's gone down the drain we're charging for all the time spent - and that's about 3 times what he was supposed to pay as "deposit". I believe it's fair... Right?
 
Good news everyone

I'm done with my stock count for the day and it's only 7:15. Think I can find a party to join?

In other news the sa guide dogs came to check on our puppy Brio, they say she is doing great and on track to becoming a guide dog :D fingers crossed
