I do. I've got a 10Mbps line with Smart Village. Don't really have an alternative, as they wired and supply internet to the whole area I stay in. I'm not complaining though - Speedtest last night revealed 10.2 down, 9.8 up and 1ms ping to Midrand server.

A ok so not the 100meg from the old/new players. I am about 20km away from fibre.

Just stood in traffic for nearly an hour going home. And then the fucking taxi drivers try and cut in and people let them! Saw this car behind me drive into one of the taxis way and stop him :D

The only reason i let them in is because i dont want them to scrape my car. I would rather sit a bit longer and not have a damage car that would need to go in for fixing just an exsample.

Well, they do have a 40Mbps option, but the 10Mbps option suits me perfectly. We stream everything we want to watch (and listen to) and I download a couple of Steam and Origin games when I sleep. Even waiting the odd 3-6 hours for a game to download isn't that bad...

I learned to drive in the JHB CBD so sometimes I can be a bit aggressive. :o

I know exactly how that feels bro... it is definitely kark.
Pre-empting that flow with your foot on the clutch and in gear 1 so that the f@$ckers don't try their luck when a gap opens.

I love me some 3 hours of no power .......... inept tossers

.... dude, by that time I'll be settled down there. Must haz a visit ;)

Are you moving to Margate? I don't spend much time in TK so I keep missing all these things. Plus do you have any idea how socially awkward I am? :)

What pisses me off is impatient bastards that break traffic rules, specifically talking about crossing solid white lines, painted islands, yellow lines and other road markings just to move into a lane (or to skip ahead) further down the bumper to bumper traffic. It actually causes more holdups, which cause more people to do the idiot thing. Secondly, what the hell is it with some capetonians that think that speeding up to close a gap is the right response to someone indicating, identifying a gap and starting to move into said gap.

Lastly, WTF is up with the 2-lane highways and 100s of fading lanes in Cape Town? Do the ministers all travel via secret tunnels or helicopters that they not notice that you cannot fade 2 lanes into one lane in order to join a highway with 4 lanes only for another lane to fade out making it 3 lanes and then isolate one lane and make it flow off in another direction.

(1) It seems like I'm the only one following this rule. Don't think most drivers even know what a solid line means..
(2) Well, it's their intent. They KNOW they have to take the offlane but they don't want to wait patiently like the other 20+ drivers in the lane that have been waiting for 20+ mins. They can fk off for all I care. Moral of story = Be in the right lane the first time and don't expect people to give you space.

Oh, and if you do try and push in after breaking some rules, good luck trying it with me as I will drive into you. Done it before and will do it again.

Really? Not worth it...
Do you carry a weapon with you in your ride? Always on my checklist but I never get to it.. You know, just in case of road rage or thugs.

Opting for MACE. Haha.
I have one of those Ninja daggers that might make people go "oh schit" and is long enough to scare people.

What would you guys choose as a weapon to carry around with you in your car for life threatening moments?

I'd keep one of these handy.

and if I really want to scare them I would probably get one of these.

Hey I only want the guy to shit himself, not to kill him.

But I would admit if I could get a real gun I probably would use that instead.

Hypothetical situation.
>Road rage incident.
>Guy gets out his car to confront you.
>You get out your car with your pellet gun and wave it around so he can shit himself.
>He runs back to his car and gets out his REAL gun.
>Now you shit yourself.
