Yep Ike, it was a bit to close for comfort and the restaurant has a thatch roof, so it would have taken an ember to set it off then it would have been right next to my office. Fortunately its now mainly just lots of smoke covering the area

These power cuts get more and more annoying by the day.

I'm seriously considering a partial solar solution at the moment. 5x 300w panels. 5kW hybrid inverter (for future proofing) and +- 500Ah deep cycle batteries. All I'm lacking is the skill to install it. And the money, obviously.

We are currently sitting at the office, keeping an eye on the massive fire on the field next to our complex. Considering moving my car soon, but no where to move it

Will you also be able to rebuild the place thats currently on fire once it burns down?

Crusader, unfortunately nothing except the field burnt down, altho they are struggling to contain the blaze near the restaurant. So we will have to wait till tomorrow to see the damage.
