Buying an old M5 is relatively cheap. The problem will come when something on the car breaks. Then you might as well sell it again and buy another one

mechanical work is sorted i have a dedicated mechanic, getting the parts for a rare car like this might be a problem though.

also its got alot less electronics than the current bmw models and its Naturally aspirated so no turbo issues to worry about

And I love my E90 325i. Goes well but makes me spend way too much on petrol.

i have a soft spot for the e39 m5 (that thing has a legendary motor even ascari's use that engine)

that and maybe the z4 and 1 series M are the only real bmw's that i like
