Threadkiller Mk XI

Morning everyone.

I almost killed one of the guys in my complex this morning. He thinks he is Kanye West. We live in a security complex so there are guards and gates and whatnot. With a gate for residents and a gate for visitors. So I come back from gym and it's about 6am and my remote doesn't work. The security guard tells me that they are busy resetting the gate system that I must just wait a bit. So I say sure that's fine.

Meanwhile mr jackass comes from the other side and parks right in front of the gate. So that even if the gate opens I won't be able to go through. Guard goes and talks to him. Gate finally opens and he freaken goes forward! Until his bumper is right in front of mine. Now I was here first and I've been waiting a little bit. So I get out of the car, walk to him and tell him that I have right of way because I was there long before he was. Besides he can reverse. I can't because there is a car behind me.

And you know what he does! He argues with me! So I tell him that he is a fucking jerk and he better move his car right now. So then he proceeds to tell me that I'm also a jerk. For a second there I had to tell myself not to pull him out of the window and beat him senseless. Guards tell him to move.

So he moves his car back a little bit. Not enough for me or the car behind me to go through. What the hell is wrong with this guy!

So I get out again and then he reverses. Adrenaline was pumping through my veins. I just worked out so the testosterone was probably high too. But I got in my car and drove to my house.

Well, that's me venting my frustrations. Having coffee now.

on a serious note, life is full of such doose, i have come to the conclusion that they either have a chemical imbalance upstairs or they're born with an unidentified doos gene.

Soli, that sucks to hear. I personally would have hit the guy. What an asshole. Not a way to start the week


So my weekend was absolutely bliss. I spent 2 days in the Kruger National Park, and we saw the whole big 5 within one day. We were very lucky, and it was just the break-away I needed.
 
Morning all,

After a weekend's worth of testing, I discovered that this new Mecer KB is best left for work. I love the idea of this slim, flat-keyed form factor, but it has no MM keys, so that's off-putting.

Going to take my Zalman back home. I needed to remind myself as to why I chose to buy this KB in the first place; replacing the laptop's crappy old keyboard. What's more, some kind folk helped to to acquire this KB and I feel as though it is an insult not to use it as my primary home KB.

Anyway... :)

Soli that would have drove me insane. Relaxing weekend was good, I just need some more time off I think.

Better to vent than to fight :)

Getting in and out of my complex is also a mission. Some people don't even check if someone is approaching.

This week seems like it will be fairly relaxed. Still awaiting sign-off on new projects, so my team and I have some time to do clean-up and polishing on existing work.
