A couple of guys from work and I are planning on attending RAGE on Sunday. Hoping to get a new cheap-ish gaming keyboard.

Bask in the impressive intelligence that is mine. Upon receiving my brand new 2Tb external, I thought it good to use it as an additional drive for my Xbox One. And so I put it in, and started the format. Little did I know that I incorrectly selected my other external with all my movies and series and photos and music on it. So today, as I sit down to enjoy a nice episode of Modern Family while I eat, the drive is blank. Gone is all my data. A whole 2.6 TB of data, accrued over 4 years, gone.

Jip, I'm not a smart man. So trying to run some recovery software and see what I can recover. At least nothing else copied onto the drive yet. Hopefully I can recover some files.

I just upgraded SQL Server Express 2014 to the Standard edition and I was surprised how quick and easy it was.

our DBA's at work tried to do a upgrade on one of our clusters recently and completely botched it up ... twice ... not even their fualt just sql being its usual dick self

Hehe I always hear horror stories like that. That's why I'm surprised that it went so smoothly for me.
