Sounds like some weird health concoction.

Ha, you sip a lot!

Morning everyone!

Hey Soli

From Thursday evening until about 1:30 last night

Thats quite a while. Cable theft? We had ours out once for 3 days because the dug through the backup cable. The main one was already broken. They buried the cables in Bedfordview because cables in the air would be ugly :p

lightning hit a sub station, so they were working 24/7 tryna get it back up

So, my 10Mbps fibre line downloaded 1.1GB in 6 minutes this morning... At one stage it spiked at 5.2MB per second! Average speed was 3.2MB per second. Colour me extremely surprised and impressed... Obviously there was something wrong at the ISP's side for not limiting my line to 10Mbps. :D

Wow that's a long time Donisia!

And hi there czc. :)
FarligOpptreden, can you imagine if we had internet like that the whole time. It's how it should be. It seems pretty unfathomable.

Well, if I'm willing to pay a couple of hundred a month more, I can get a 40Mbps line. That's pretty much the speed I got this morning. 10Mbps is pretty decent for my needs - my downloads are always a stable 1.2MBps and I stream HD Netflix all the time.

I can do with 10Mbps. I'm currently on 5. I'm hoping that we will get fibre in our complex sometime soon though. It's been in the pipeline for a while now.

Well, a little birdy is singing a song that I might have the opportunity for 100Mbps fibre at the same price I'm paying currently from around March next year... So I'll wait and see if I can join the broadband elite. :p

Those are nice speeds.

These days I can't even start playing CS:GO because of lag. I don't know if its my wireless card or what.
