Takealot does not drop the price of titles over age, that is the price on their inventory when they got it and that is what they'll sell it at unless the distributer recalls it and reissues it at a lower price.

That's definitely not true. I had something that I pre-ordered from them delivered almost a week after release. They never even made an excuse or let me know what was going on.

Yeah, the problem seems to be with their courier (MrD Couriers), most of the stuff i order I get within 48 hours, had two packages go past expected delivery date and both delays were tracked back to the couriers and not Takealot, did get a couple of vouchers off them for throwing toys due to missed delivery dates.

Bummer, I must have been lucky, I haven't always had good experiences with Mr Deliver Express, who they use for deliveries, but at least my last few orders have been very prompt, one even arrived the same day I ordered.

I poked around a bit and couldn't find anything better when I was looking, which was around 24 Dec, but there were probably better specials that I missed. I did see a way better deal on Black Friday, but that was then...
Fortunately for me, I didn't pay for it, my boss did, I let him keep the PS TV because as cool as it is, I don't want to be a greedy bugger and I knew he wanted one, and he was already getting me a PS4...
