Well, sick is a relative term...Are you sick or just overworked? If overworked and stressed out then hey, go back to gaming! Also wouldn't it be better to stick to one technology stack and rather become perfect in that? Just asking of course. I don't want you to make things difficult for your future self, no matter how much fun it is to use new and exciting different technologies.
Regarding my choice for node.js: I've been a huge JavaScript fanatic for at least 10 years now and I try to do as much in and with it as I can. If I can settle on building a full server and client architecture with it, I am in essence sticking with one technology stack to do everything with. Besides, Google "programming trends for 2016" and you'll be surprised how many articles state that JavaScript will be on the rise from this year going forth. There's a reason big tech companies like Netflix, LinkedIn, PayPal and Uber are resorting to node.js for their server stack.
Yeah, 2 doctors told me to take a bit of a break. It's really difficult to NOT help my team during that time, but I'm trying to take time off.Rest up well, dude. Sometimes the doctors aren't completely wrong about what's best for us..
