good morningzz all! our network department at work blocked mygaming :( so i won't be active during the day, anymore and at all. but will occasionally log in from my phone to check. FML!!!
 
I'm absolutely loving this cold weather! I could live on Antarctica and I'd probably love it to bits.

Benefit of cold weather: your body burns more calories trying to stay warm.

A good thing, the prior company I worked for and the one I am currently working for, have crappy management and ethics.

I should add some clarity.
First company I worked for retrenched me.

Second and Third have bad ethics and management, also third has some pretty high sales standards for a product which has been on the market for decades. Also people would rather save their money and DIY then pay for some one to do it.

Also when I was moving from two to three a company I had always wanted to work for asked he why I am not working for them. I though the timing was bad but, there is no time like the present.

That is unfortunately a reality at 80% of the companies you will work for. Best to stick it out for a year or two to make the most of the experience you will gain there.

If your CV reflects too many jobs in a short period of time, you'll be perceived as a job-hopper and a risk of employment.

So try and stay at your next job for at least a year, despite the conditions. More often than not you can influence the environment and make it better for yourself and your colleagues.

Hopefully this will be my last job before I start working in the field I studied in. I won't even bother putting this currents jobs details on my CV.

Also good people are hard to find, the job I just left is begging me to come back. Sadly I will choose not to for the sake of my health and stress. Working for commission has it's perks and disadvantages, this played a big part on my decision to leave, with no basic I have no safety net.

Just remember to have a good story for what you did between month X and Y when a potential employer identifies a gap in your employment history... ;)

Like I said - if you have a positive attitude and outlook towards the job it can make all the difference. If they're begging for you to come back, consider making an agreement with terms that suit you and ease off the stress.

Why doesn't Takelot have a 'Cancel order' button like Kalahari did. Why should I have to e-mail to request a cancellation? Though, the cancellation request was fulfilled sooner than expected.

Speaking of Takealot, they surprised me with the quicker than expected delivery and when I called them yesterday to moan about my Fitbit not working lekker, I had an instant credit.


p.s - they do have a cancel button ........
 
Its the the thing I love about them the most, their after sales care is really good, and they really are efficient. They havent screwed up for me yet.

I will have to look for it on the App and Desktop versions next time I decide to cancel an order.

Yes, so far I've found their services to be good. Have not any any complaints I can remember.
