Sooohhhhhooooo... I want to buy myself a 23" monintor come payday but "cannot" afford it.
Long story short, Hagan is an idiot and needs to learn that you have to start from the bottom; allow me to explain.

He wants to connect both his PS3 and PC connected to the monitor, however, his PS3 is very finicky when it comes to using converters, thus he wishes to buy a monitor that has 2x HDMI ports. Now, the problem lies where: it's almost impossible to find a monitor that has 1x HDMI and 1x DVI ports. As a result, he started looking into more expensive monitors (i.e ones with at least 2x HDMI ports). Should he purchase this expensive monitor he'll be quite tight on his finances.

He's now opted to buy a monitor (which was his initial choice) and hope that he does not encounter too many issues with console connectivity. He also wonders if there be quality degradation if he uses a VGA to HDMI converter (an HDMI cable with a simple VGA conversion plug/adaptor). Otherwise, he'll just hope for the best.

He's very much looking forward to 1080p gaming again on a monitor with a native res of 1080p.

If anyone know where he can get a monitor that supports both HDMI and DVI, please let him know. ;)
