Played and finished Mafia II yet again. Might give a review soon.
What do you think of it?
How's the non work life treating you?

It's chilled for now. I'll take these "days off" as they come for I'm sure I have a lot in store for me keeping me quite busy.
Mafia II is an awesome game, for its game, but having played more modern titles in recent years, I do have a few gripes.
Enjoy your time off while you can.I must still play Mafia II. It's never looked all that appealing to me.
Afternoon everyone. Wow what a start to work I've had. Since coming back from leave I've been stupidly busy. At least it's almost weekend.
With the premise and characters, it's like playing a mobster movie.
It is possible to complete the game in a day; took me a day and a few hours - 8-10 hours. May have to check in with Raptr to verify the numbers.
It always seems to happen that way once one come back from a holiday. Tons of emails and work. Did you enjoy your time off?

Will give it a try one day hopefully. So what's next on your list of games?
Had such a wonderful time off. Did everything I wanted to do in the space of a week and a half. Just at the moment not getting too much gaming time though. I want to play more Forza, and I want to finish up my Halo play through before Halo 5 comes out.
L.A. Noire is actually next on my list of open-world [-]action[/-] crime drama.
Currently halfway through Far Cry 2.
Kingdoms of Amalur which I also haven't finished now that I own the game, I will.
That's great! We all need a good break every now and then. I also want to start with the Halo collection once I finish Dragon Age Inquisition. It has taken me months though and will probably take another weekend or two.
My wife loved LA Noire. I must still play it. Far Cry 2 was awesome! It's just the respawning that wasn't ideal. I loved the whole Africa feel in the game though.
How's Kingdoms of Amalur? ViperGTI got it for me for Christmas but I haven't gotten to it yet which is bloody terrible. Too little time and too many games.
An awesome fairytale-like RPG. Worth a play.
Cool thanks. I think first for me is Crysis 2 after The Vanishing of Ethan Carter on the PC. And on the XBox One it's the Halo Collection after Dragon Age Inquisition. I still can't believe you finished Inquisition twice. It's taking forever.
Actually - I only finished it once, replayed it a few times, either because I did not like the character's appearance, or I lost the plot or I wished to try a different class and race.
Afternoon all what you been up to?
Ah okay, I wondered if it was something like that.
Working but ready to go home. How about you?

http://metro.co.uk/2015/10/01/new-law-means-30-day-refund-for-broken-video-games-5415914/The new Consumer Rights Act in the UK not only protects you against faulty games, but also broken online services like Xbox Live and PSN.
According to the new law anyone who buys faulty goods in the UK is entitled to a full refund for up to 30 days after purchase.
The new law specifically covers digital content, such as eBooks and music, and that means games as well. But while we don’t ever remember an online movie not working, video games are a different matter entirely.
I liked the game and my wife loves the game. If she is bored, she starts that game up... even though she's finished it already. The 2nd game ever that she has finished so far (other was Saints Row 3).
I liked the combat in the game and the game works nice with controller. Story isn't as strong as Dragon Age for instance, but still good.
I haven't gotten to my xmas present either. When I want to start a new game, I look at my library and kinda get mesmerized.
