we knew we'd get the loan cause we put down a third of the purchase price as a deposit so we just want the best possible interest rate and least amount of costs. FNB has given us the best interest rate, Nedbank the worst. both of these banks however offer us a 50% discount on the bond fees and our firm will do the transfer on the one sideyeah, been down that road. Though I hate how you almost have to basically apply for the loan to find out what you qualify for.
So, I REALLY don't want to say anything too spoiler-y, but what I will say is that this is the best Star Wars since 1983....possibly since 1980 even....

That sounds like you have a good deal there.
ja pretty decent but flip the differences in costs are ridiculous... the initial quote i got from my firm without employee discount being applied is WAY less than what some of the other attorneys want to charge. it definitely pays to shop around for attorneys and to not just go with whomever the agent tells you to go withThat sounds like you have a good deal there.

JA you can, you just have to convince the seller(basically the agent cause the agent scores commission from the attorneys who do the transfer)that yu can save x amount on costs. agents normally come with their little booky with 3 sets of attorneys and their charges for doing the transfer. you then obviously pick the lowest form there) but if you obviously know someone who works in a firm that does do transfers even better. with most things in life there is some room for negotiationI didn't know you can do that.
Still on my to do list is to go to the bank and demand they lower my interest rate.
Morning peoples!
Yay, only half day work for me! I took a full day leave yesterday to take my wife to the hospital but then heard she had to go to physio this afternoon so I went back to work at 12 yesterday and will then take the rest of my leave day today from 12.![]()
What is this leave and time off you people keep talking of?
You didn't get the memo?
Cool. I don't even know if my manager would agree to something like this. Hope the physio works well for you wife![]()
I don't get memos, too busy working.
