morning. Feel like slightly warmed up death served with a cheese grater. Drove 7.5 hours yesterday from the Tsitsikamma while having a fever. It was a trip to die for I tell you.
 
Morning all

I am planning on spending most of my day in front of my laptop looking at data, joy.

It feels like it should be Friday already, probably because this is the 10th straight day I've been at work.

Got to admit i do love it when the forum is this active...
 
Well I'll be away for a bit today. Have to give class to some people on how to use my system. In the beginning it used to be so simple and then years of adding to it has made it a complicated beast. So next week will be spent making my system a bit more user friendly.
 
Morning people of the TK. . . . Had so much fun last night chatting with a friend, she is here for a few days for work, so last night after she landed we met up at the hotel and chatted the night away


Now tho I am tired and have a nasty headache

UX man, UX. It's my speciality. :)

On the last system I did, it wasn't necessary for me to train the testers or users at all. They instinctively knew what to do and where to go. Make sure to leverage familiarity that users have with systems and websites they use often. The 3-pane navigation works wonders, as most email clients subscribe to it and everyone uses email during their daily office job.

Then make sure to make things pretty and add in transitions and animations at the right time. Just be consistent in their use. Users love being surprised in systems and micro-UX goes a long way to satisfy and entice users to perform the actions again.
