Oi, what a fun December this is turning out to be. My wife went for a follow-up at a physician she saw earlier this year and ended up admitted for 2 days to perform some tests. So I've been sitting here with her since 09:30 this morning...

I know the feeling. It's been a crazy busy couple of weeks. And today was a bit of a bad day for me. But we go on and hopefully tomorrow will be better.

We don't have a choice. Already booked accommodation in Colesberg for a half-way stop on our way to Cape Town to go visit my folks next week. And we have a whole family thing arranged for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with my wife's family...

It's been a rough year. Dealing with tenants, selling a house, moving. Did a professional certification, still busy with post-grad studies. Realized that the wife and I spent almost 2 months in hospital this year with either her being ill or my kid being ill. Doubling up because we're short staffed. Urgh, I just want this year to end.
