Discussing with my betters about this sugar tax crap.

Effectively, those in support of "the motion" wants the government to charge them more for something they previously didn't need to.

Who in f***'s name wants to give out more money for something they could've gotten for less? You can't control your s*** now others must 'pay-the-price' -- sound like a "you problem".

:D

Some of the best news I have ever heard in a very long time. It's been far too long, and I was beginning to think that I would not make it.

A little back story. When I registered this semester, I was not too sure if I was going to finish my degree or not.
Normally there are two options. A) Choose to finish your degree or B) Choose to continue your degree. Now there is no system that stops you from choosing A or B so it's left upon the student to keep track of it. I chose B thinking I was a few credits short, and the system only allowed me to choose certain subjects. Most of the time stating that the subjects chosen have already been credited. Thinking it's strange that I was awarded credits for subjects I never did, I continued with registration. I got busy with my assignments, studding and work at that stage (I have since left) I had forgotten all about it. On Tuesday I remembered that I had to contact UNISA about my registration, so I emailed UNISA just to double check if I had made a grave mistake, and they sent me back the above reply.

In hindsight I am ecstatic but also a bit sorrowful (it's about a 80/20 ratio) because I really enjoyed my Geography courses and was hoping to do one or two more for the extra experience, such as Development of Urban Space and Environmental Awareness and Responsibility.
