Hi all, hectic days lately

Yesterday morning, by car made a scary noise and wouldn't idle properly, so I used my wife's car, wouldn't even start when I got home, but I jump started it, and it's come right now.

Had a hectic night with the kid last night, so very sleepy, but I actually got to work nice and early today to find someone has parked a boat in my parking spot, I was the first one in, but I left my access card and office key at home because I had the other car yesterday, so I had to wait around for someone else to arrive. Everyone else is late, except one guy, who has also left his key at home. So we went to get a cup of takeaway coffee round the corner, and on the way back in, his coffee falls over and spills in his car. He went to get something to wipe it, and thought for some reason to try start his car, and then his car wouldn't start (which was also parking my car in now), so we had to wait for someone else to come with a jumper cable for him.
 
Sheesh [MENTION=193]matt[/MENTION], it sounds like you've had a crazy week so far. Hopefully it'll be better from now on.
 
I always wondered if people actually fall for those phishing emails and dodgy attachments and things like that. I've learned though that people are stupid. Oh so stupid.

I run a website that compares different hosting packages from different companies and then I recommend which ones to go for. You guys won't believe how often I get people who contact me, thinking that I'm their host. People have asked me to bill them, to renew their domains, to update their details and all kinds of things like that. Most often people think I'm Afrihost. It's insane. I don't know how people can be so stupid.

And these people are out there!

Okay, thats odd. You could have started you own hosting company by now Solitude.

I got a 'letter' from 'paypal' yesterday wanting me to confirm my details. I don't even have a paypal account.

Yes yes yes, a thousand times yes. I see these people everyday. The problem however is that people seem to get "the stupids" when they have to deal with technology or have to learn a little bit.
 
Good morning people. Apparently there was a long weekend that I was supposed to be on "leave", yet I sat and worked through 3 of my day's off, effectively nullifying the leave taken. And now I'm tired and just want to go live on an island somewhere, or retreat to a small town to start a farm.

There is not even a remote chance of that happening ever. Welcome to the responsibility of management...if people f*ed up, it's your fault, thus you have to fix it, whether you are on leave or not. The client comes first, and you dear peon must dance to his will, no matter the fact that you have panic attacks on a frequent basis. You better get this right, and you better get it right fast
