The saga continues, still no water...at least I am getting ready for the future SA.

Oh and good morning all. **touches everyone with unwashed hands after being to the loo**

Hallo, folks. I'm back at the office for the first time in weeks! Nothing like being on site to make you miss the office and her politics and drama! :D

Urgh, I hate office politics. I swear it must be human nature that when more than about 5 people get together and money is involved, there will be politics and drama. Always.

Drums keep pounding a rhythm to the brain
La de da de de, la de da de da
And the beat goes on.

Have had this song stuck in my head the whole morning.

I've been at a company where there was politics, inside our dept., between depts., between managers, it was all pretty unpleasant. The place where I am now, the politics are of a very friendly nature. Worst case scenario, someone is whistling in their office, so the rest of us would put in earbuds for music. More typically, we'd be talking kak about our customers that are late on payments (seriously, who lets R3.5 million lapse past 120 days?! This is also the main source of drama around these parts.) or our customers who are clueless, or about how clueless the bean counter is. All in all, it's a really nice environment.

Morning people of the tk

So tired, kak sleep last night so moerig.

Now I am trying to find friends a place to stay for when they move to cape town. Their budget limits them, and the fussiness also

I've been dealing with the opposite. One of our suppliers is always late with his invoices. It takes more than a month with numerous reminder mails to get him to send it to us.

Customer: Can you explain why this functionality works this way?
Me: Unfortunately we don't provide this functionality.
Customer: Oh! We were under the impression you provide it. As you don't can you tell me who does?
Me:

What I want to say: No I can, its a piece of code on a website it doesn't have a handy little "made by" label I can just read.
What I will say: Unfortunately I can't, as its not a part of the site we have any real visibility over.

Morning all.

Here's mine for the morning -

Client: can you do this thing?
Me: no we cannot. But I can give the number of someone who may be able to help

Ten minutes later ...

Client: they said they can't do it so you'll have to do it
