Yeah, I downloaded a patch using the launcher and then when I used the other executable it looked like it downloaded the exact same patch again (same size). So annoying.

The Social Club Launcher leaves much to be desired. The launcher does not accurately display the download amount and file/folder size.
I've done (apparently) 55.40GB / 55.50GB - the folder's size is 65.2GB. :/
It should then equate to: 65.2GB / 65.7GB (roughly).

Wonder if Steam version uses also have to make use of this Launcher, or if it does it through Steam's download.

UPDATE: In addition to the 500MB update, an additional 527MB has yet again begun.
Should I just simply give up on this!

Had a similar problem with Dota at one point... can't remember at ALL how I fixed it. Good luck man!
 
My only incentive now is knowing that if/when this game works, I'll be play it for many, many hours.
On Tuesday there's yet another update. Not sure how big it is, as R* has yet to disclose that info.

Steam version is just a wrapper for the Rockstar Social Club launcher you know and hate.
 
Morning peoples! Also got a lot of work to get through. So it looks like MyGaming will be quiet today with all of us being so busy.
