10 Km from my girl's house was in 'n long right sweeping turn when a truck from the front threw me brights and i couldn't see the road so i went off tried to bring it back but i started snaking on the dead grass and then i hit some rocks. Gotta love Shark Helmets and bike gear. but i didn't have my boots or pants on which is how i screwed up the ankles and knee. My arm i broke on a rock i think and my backpack saved my back as it was ripped open on a few places. Was on the road to potch just before the potch fochville crossing.

half past 7 at night. think i'm done with night riding on SA's kak roads :p but the guys doing the quote on my bike is insane they charging me 166K to fix it that's more than a brand new one.

I miss time on the forum and this happens:wtf: hope you feel better soon! And I think that girl of yours deserves a medal :)

Completely unrelated:
Does anyone know If I can take panado while on clindahexal and ciprogen? (Both antibiotics...) I've had a very bad headache since they xrayed my head :/ (convinced I'm turning inot a ghoul)

Wife reports that panado will be fine, and that you're on very good meds. Hope your headache goes away quickly!

Hmmm... I might have been able to make them sweat a bit. Although I haven't tried the newer ISO build. They might have fixed the issue by now. I'll still give it some time to see if they don't give a bit more control over the automatic updates before I upgrade.

I highly doubt they will. The whole idea of SaaS (software as a service) relies on controlling the version of the software everyone is on. There are several registry hacks you can pull to make the updating a lot smoother, so if you're confident tinkering in there then I'd consider the upgrade. On the whole 10 is actually not bad; MUCH better than 8, and even if it's not quite a smooth as 7, the added back-end features and general boot speed makes up for it, IMO.

They should make the stuff flexible for power users though. Unexpected / unauthorised restarts is never acceptable. I might consider it after this new release on 2 Aug.

On a side note (but still on the topic of Windows 10), I just replaced my Nokia phone with a Samsung S7. After I updated the phone to Windows 10, everything went to hell. Random phone restarts, phone freezing, apps hanging. It got so bad that I got a new phone. I don't know how they decide to release it before making sure it is stable. Some issues experienced has been reported in the beta versions already. Given that, I don't really like giving full control over automatic updates to MS.

People underestimate the power of a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I was advised on this here forum from using one. I've been using one since we got ADSL; it works wonderfully.
