If you didn't know, those were the possible candidates we could vote for. So, no.

Ah, shit, no other choices? Our one ballot had like 50 parties.

We live in a minuscule town, there were probably other options, chances are, they were even worse than those three mentioned.
One needs to have a pristine reputation because word travels like wildfire in this tiny town.

We registered, would have voted, but guess what, the particular candidate reneged on his promises long before voting even started.
