Question about Windows 10 quickly: so I downloaded some new wallpapers from Reddit over the weekend to customize my home PC. Today when I opened my laptop, some how my laptop, that didn't get any of the new backgrounds, just decided to sync the same folder from my PC somehow and now I have my home PC backgrounds on my laptop. I mean I'm not complaining, its just really interesting for me to see it and I wonder how that works...

But yeah its really cool. Was nice getting to work and just seeing all my wallpapers on my laptop. And I actually thought I'll have to transfer all those pictures to my laptop as I'm getting tired of my current rotation of pictures.
 
Morning, everyone. I'm nice and late today, as some protesters decided to close the N4 for us. :mad: After losing a windscreen to them before, I'm not taking any chances, so I stayed at home until the all clear was issued.

Hope everyone's day goes better than mine started!

Does Word not come with an Afrikaans spelling and grammar checker? I quickly checked mine and it looks like it has it but I haven't actually tried it out.

depends on your word version. They have proofing tools for corporate keys, otherwise you can just download the one-click-installer from microsoft :)

It doesnt pick up the afrikaans correctly. I used it and we just got a proof read document back with "so many" errors that I have ben shouted at for the past 2 hours.

Interesting. So you do have the "official" one. I think in that case its probably a good idea to remind you that yea it'll always be flawed, just like the english one isnt 100% accurate either ^_^

Sadly I don't know of any others as I just needed to find one that does spelling and some grammar :p

The really interesting thing is, I just finally got the "corrected" version, there was 3 spelling mistakes - that is it. But the bitch decided to almost rewrite everything, because she didnt like the wording of the document. I have been typing these minutes every two weeks since Nov 2015. . . . This is the first time this bitch has "found" problems. It seems that she has decided she doesnt like our way of doing things - this is after we reformatted the minutes into the format that she demanded. And now its supposedly wrong.
