Yeah for me it's been the handbrake not working properly and tyres being pretty much dead...

If it's just the clutch cable it shouldn't be very expensive. But please please please drive carefully with old tires, especially in the coming months. The first rains of the season makes the road incredibly slippery, much more than a storm a couple of months later.

I'm used to the old tyres... so not worried about the rain yet...

Still, people underestimate the lack of grip in the dust-sludge caused by the first rain. Just don't want you (or anyone else, for that matter) to fall victim to mother nature conspiring with old tires :)

I've already spun out before (about a month ago because of a burst pipe+dirt):) didn't panic so nothing bad happened

Dude we appreciate it. But its ok, I managed to do the tires, teeth fortunately are almost covered. And the shocks I was told will be fine till dec, when bonus comes in, I am just not allowed to drive on dirt roads - which is easy since I am home 90% of the time. I am lucky tho tires for me was R2500 including wheel alignment and balancing. Shocks will be about R2k as well and by dec I will have that :D

Well if you ever need someone to do minor mechanical work on your car let me know. It's my only other hobby that doesn't involve computers.
