A new car... :/What did you get?
I made a very expensive impulse buy over the weekend... Luckily I'm not regretting it.![]()
A new car... :/
Thanks man! It was a hell of a deal I got. Ended up paying less per month for a car that is almost R200k more than the one I was driving. A combination of R100k discount on the car and a very good trade-in on my current car. So I couldn't resist the urge... Plus, first installment is only in 2017, so I have some spare cash in December. Add in my wife's "savings club" payout and 140 hours worth of overtime she did the past 2 months mean we have some cash to settle some bad debt that built up over the past 2 years (because being a business owner sucks).Very nice!I'm glad you spoiled yourself a bit and I hope you enjoy the car.
Not quite, but feels like one to me! Nissan X-Trail 2.5 4x4 CVT. SE spec with the optional "techno pack" to be precise. In "copper blaze" colour, because they only had the one model left on the ridiculous special they were running.Ferrari?

Better is a relative term. Our cash-flow is steadying a bit due to 2 wonderful clients, but it means I'm now juggling 2 full-time projects at once. I literally finish off at one client's premises and rush home to work on another one via VPN. Then we have SARS that took a chunk of cash out of our bank account because VIP did the IRP5 calculations incorrectly so they submitted double IRP5 figures for half our staff... I'll be very glad when November is done.Wow, very nice! I think your new car is double the price of mine!It sounds like you got a good deal and that things are going better with you.

I can't believe that Trump is winning. What the hell.
You underestimate the stupidity of the average American. Seems like Trump is winning in all the rural counties whereas Clinton is winning in the major metros. The issue is that the largely rural states and the Bible belt outright voted Trump.
I'll take Texas as an example; Huston and Dallas counties overwhelmingly supported Clinton (60+%) but since Texas is huge and mostly rural the majority of people outside the major cities voted Trump.
I can only guess that they really want that wall.
Morning all.
Haha, I love this election. Looks like the Brexit effect strikes again.
The sucky thing is that the rand has taken a dive because of Trump winning. I would have thought it would have the opposite effect.
I have family in Houston who voted for Trump. I feel so ashamed. They must be brainwashed or something.
Also you shouldn't be so hard on your family. There are many reasons people vote.
