I'm assuming you have dealt with them? I mainly use unit trusts for my investments, but I think I'm going to give them a try.

Straight equities hold a certain amount of risk, but are good to have in your portfolio.

I use them, a mix of equities and etf's.

Yep. In previous years it was just a little bit but this year I've done exceptionally well. I almost exclusively bet on rugby, with a couple of exceptions.

We've got no power at home and on Sunday we are scheduled to have no power the whole morning. Weekends are when I game and they are taking it away from me. I'm going to lose it.

I'll grab a copy if and when I see it. It's a beautiful cover! The wife and I just came from the local SPCA as well, they have a decently stocked 2nd hand book shop, we got about 20 books and 5 board games for like R200.
