Mmmmmmmm Jan when can i make a turn by you. how fast will 60Gb dl? and should i just bring my Rockstar social details? or mybe pm them to you and you can DL it and i can just come and copy?

If you visit before the end of the month, it could take as little as 20-30 minutes, provided Rockstar runs as fast as Steam. The download actually happens faster than the hard drive can handle.

Is there a way for me to test it without owning any games on the platform?

Best bet is probably to send me your credentials (encrypted if you like via PM or e-mail, or LastPass sharing), and then I'll fire up the download tonight when I get home.

Found two places that seem to give a useful benchmark --

http://nikanntranscriptiontyping.co.za/rates/ - R20 to R40 per page, depending. You'll have to estimate how many typed pages the handwritten pages translate to. Count the number of words in the first 5 lines, multiply by 5 to estimate words on all 25 lines. It is roughly 600 words per typed page. Should be between one typed page per 1.5 - 2 handwritten pages. Adjust price depending on legibility.

Other example -- http://www.typingandtranscription.net/pricing.html. They charge R115-R130 per hour.

Hopefully those rates are up-to-date.

If you have to edit the work as well, remember to charge for that separately.

I wouldnt even know, I decided to charge them R50 an hour - its an older couple who just needs a hand. If I find more work like this that I can do on the side I will have to figure it out.
 
I love Audiosurf. I think most people who know my gaming habits know that. I now discovered Audioshield. A VR game made by the guy who made Audiosurf! It's amazing! :D Just got 90 minutes of good exercise while having fun. :D

Sadly, Rockstar Club does not appear to be as fast as Steam :(. Download speed sometimes hits over 90Mbps, and sometimes dips to under 3Mbps, but generally hovers between 40Mbps and 60Mbps.

Looks like it'll be done downloading tonight, though!

Good morning everyone.

Seeing that I so spectacularly failed at predicting the end of TK Mk XIII, I need to redeem myself in some way with ANOTHER UPDATED PREDICTION.

Based on the total posts before death of the last TK's, the average around which they are killed are 11790 posts. This is 453 posts from now (well 452 posts after this one). According to our current average post per day, which is 21 posts per day average at the moment, we will reach that number by 19 September 2017, or just over 21 days from now.

But hey what do I know right, I've been wrong in the past.
