IT dept is running an update on all our pcs so I'm just visiting the old haunt. Same o.o same I'm otherwise.

Maybe you just don't understand him

hahaha, he jumps around too much for me.

ja i think that is def the case. he goes too fast and doesnt slow down when you ask him too
Yeah it's annoying when teachers go too fast. Had the same thing in college - and every time you asked for repeats the whole class is like 'Ah godammit murph'

I had a Java instructor once who completely lost the whole class on a regular basis. Then he throws recursion on the exam without even mentioning it in class. Having done recursion before, I was the only one who got it right. He dropped the points from the exam, and wouldn't even give me bonus marks.

He will forever be known as the guy who yells out "You know 'dis! It was in chaptah two!" (to which the class would yell back "We don't know 'dis!")

that is me, when we are doing online classes (which he tries to do on a 2mb line with 10 ppl connecting to him) soooo frustrating

Now that's teamwork. But ask one of these slaapstad people for the Doom files and it takes a year.

You never asked me!

Also i always fight with unisa, I pay for the subjects I expect answers. I am now in a fight with the one department since the lecturer refuses to answer my questions

Yeah sorry I made the vital mistake of asking Riaan:p

Jan got himself 100Gbps fibre :p

^^^ This (divided by 100). Have it til 1 September.

I see Vumatel is rolling out around the Northern Suburbs, so maybe the Cape Town people can be more helpful in future ;)

Hey Jan, just want to ask a favour.... [emoji14]

Any time!

i logged a complaint last week about it, havent heard a word from the college yet...he also loves to cut night classes short, cause its been a long day

Yell if there's anything we can help with. I haven't done academic programming in awhile, but there are a few technical types around these parts that should be able to help figure out problems.

When you have a difficult lecturer, getting your hands on past exams really helps. Is that possible at your college?
