Considering that the 980 costs around R9k on its own, I would expect the full set with water-cooling will cost somewhere between R25k and R30k.
 
It will likely cost a lot more than 2 of your current rigs combined; in my case (no pun here, move along), it'd be about 5 - 6 times its worth.
 
Well, I wont be able to mount this on top of my case, I have an H100i blowing air out that way...
 
That thing is unnecessarily big.

Throws off the entire look of the case. Imagine that sitting on a Corsair 540. It would look ridiculous. Would rather buy my own waterblocks, pump, res, tubing and radiator.
 
Lol, I know it's impractical and I would never ever buy one (assuming I could afford it) but I think it looks cool. It's just one of those things that comes with massive bragging rights and a bigger price tag, like a Ferrari.

It's quite OTT - literally.

I like the look, but as you said it's impractical and just gives you bragging rights. Spending double the amount of money spent on your PC, on a GPU set, just seems a little... I don't know... Much. Even if I could... afford it, I don't think I'd buy it.
