Titanfall PC minimum requirements revealed

Do we know yet if there will be any SA servers?
I know Australia aren't getting any servers, so worrying about SA...

Yeah that would be interesting to know. Of course I'd love to be able to create a LAN server but I guess anyone even mentioning that these days is shot down, dragged outside and beaten to death with keyboards.

I doubt we will get servers the xbone is not even out here but I would love to be wrong.

Pffft...who cares about "There's nothing for us to say" lol (Rockstar's words)...yeah I've love you to be proven wrong too . Sadly going forward I know that these sorts of things will fade even more than they already have (i.e. giving us ownership of many games moving forward in terms of the continuity say 10 years from now).

The only real question remains. What would the recommended specs be and then what will us local players ping be like? So far its rumored that there's no local servers. Hope this will change. Playing with 200/300 ping in a multiplay only game is gona suck big time!

I'm hoping they do a hybrid system with p2p and servers or sometihng, similar to ghosts I think. Otherwise it'll be bad...

From playing first person shooters on console the last few years, P2P is just too inconsistent. Almost to the point where you're better off playing on a decent European server than local P2P. Not sure how the experience is on PC though.

These days...pretty much the same. At the very least we should at least get local servers for these games that involve mass involvement (a.k.a. multi-player only) but with a game being uber popular and everyone just adopting the online stuff it's hard for us as a smaller gaming country to really have any way (and if we'd had better broadband we'd probably not have complained).

Yeah i won't have a problem running this at all i really thought it would be a bit outlandish and that people would have to do upgrades of some sort to run it but this has surprised me

No local servers, no buy. Simple as that. Sad to say but SA is not seen as a 'major' market in their eyes.

That explains why its very average looking graphics wise. All the new multi platform games are going to be 64 bit because of the new consoles and its about bloody time.

It may be one of those games that scales incredibly well with increased PC power [ALA Witcher 2 ]

Well yeah, its not great. I gave up on BlackOps2 because of the p2p, and the fact that the matchmaking was absolutely ridiculous. Also the constant mid game host migrations made me want to murder things.
I haven't played Ghosts but from what I've read the server/p2p hybrid thing works well - I will admit I dont really know anything about it in depth? But if its anything like Blops1 or 2 and purely p2p then I dont want it. I'm happy(er) playing Bf3 and 4 on EU servers than struggling with p2p, so if thats all we get then we'll just adapt and hope.

Halo isn't too bad on matchmaking, think thats p2p, even in SA mind you?

Even though the game specs are quite reasonable,it's online, and there hasn't been word of a local server, which means we'll most likely be experiencing lag,as we've been the past few weeks.

If it's the console lag, I'll get it. I played like that for years - very fun and honestly Loadout is a blast on EU servers.

Yeah, console we actually dont know any better. We just adapt.

It does seem better on the consoles. I remember the days on playing Uncharted 2 online. You could quite easily play on some of the international servers. Local would be ideal though. Don't know too much about xbox live but do Microsoft normally have servers around the world or does this game at least support dedicated servers so the ISPs can host them here?

It depends on the game, some are server based and some are peer to peer. I know with Battlefield, it's server based, and there are servers all over the world, except for Africa and South America it seems , so we have to play on European servers, which upsets everyone.
