Titanfall, the mech mayhem shooter from Respawn Entertainment, is due out on March 11 for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC in North America. Titanfall hits Europe on March 13.

Pre-orders of Titanfall are live now in standard and collector's editions; check out your options here. The collector's edition runs $250 and includes an 18 inch statue with diorama and LED lighting, a 190-page art book and a schematic poster of the Atlas titan. Take a look at these goodies below.

We got to play around with the mechs of Titanfall at Gamescom and had a grand ol' time.

grrr...

Xbox One...cool
PC....cool
xbox 360...not cool

The sooner devs drop support for shitty 7+ year old gear the better for us all. That being said respawn might still make it work.

they all will probably close down if they operated like that

make a game only compatible with a new console with a million+ user base (probably sell a 100 000 copies, since its not everyone's cup of tea or make a game compatible with the 360 which has a 90 million + user base and sell atleast 4 to 5 million copies)

Rubbish. The mere existence of PC only franchises disproves that.

meh...wait a month and the xbone will be hot sht in the xbox circles. Reddit & co filled with screenshots of the graphics on the xbone. Plus the billion dollar marketing machine of MS behind the xbone.....plus standard social pressures....and then you've got a dev stepping up saying...yeah we totally developed our fantastic million dollar next gen game to be compatible with 7 year old tech....lol...no. Yes you'll get a couple more sales in the *short term* based on whats in houses currently but entire continents will be laughing at you a month or 2 later.

Forget the 90m existing user base. They're fckin useless. You want to sell games *now*...what are you going to marketing that on? 7 year old gfx? No. Storyline...maybe. Every sane user will ask why you didn't put the storyline on the next gen box though...realistically every oke is going to upgrade anyway given the 7+ year cycle...

Or forget everything I said & consider this...no matter how you cut it the lowest common denominator in terms of platform targeted does affect your total game experience at least somewhat. I promise you this is true. I wrote GFX code & saw this myself. Now....7 year old tech...yeah...no matter how you spin that...on a new platform with a projected 10-ish useful life you'd have to be fckin retarded to sell a game based on the next month or two of xbox 360 sales.

I used the xbox in my examples here...just for the record...I think the PS4 is superior in near all respects.

I also think a reason to push for XB360 is to make people think they are getting "less" of a game on the 360 than the One. They know it's on XB1 so they upgrade to a newer system. Also AFAIK all the footage has been XB1/PC, XB360 aparently is being ported by a 3rd party and not the primary dev (http://gamerant.com/titanfall-xbox-360-xbox-one-comparison/)

Also Titanfall may still come to PS4 afterall, since well PS4 is gaining a massive user bases 1 million + pre-orders and a projected million more by early/mid next year. At the moment it is somewhat speculative information but I think EA will sell out for more money in the end.

I have a question that will hopefully spark some discussion and provide some theories (unless it was confirmed somewhere and my google-fu has failed me):

With most of the MS based games having their own dedicated servers thanks to MS Azure (the whole cloud thing), does that mean that Titanfall will have some kind of local servers? Im not 100% clued up on how the Azure tech works but based on my limited understanding, if SA have Azure support (which we do) that means there will be local games running.
