To those now getting uncapped...

I've been playing Dark Age of Camelot since release, and never had a problem on my cap. Only now that I'm dual logging it's eating quite a bit of bandwith, but soon it won't be a problem anymore.

It's the initial download of the game that's the cap problem :D

For DAoC maybe, a lot of MMOs aren't shy at all with huge patches. I played WoW for 3 years (have been off that crack pipe for a while now), since release, and in that time I've downloaded many gigs worth of patches, some of them 300-600mb in one shot (those are rarer).

Darkfall also regularly pumps out 300mb patches, sometimes once or twice a month.

Im thinking of giving Rose a go , anyone that can comment on how it is?

It's cutsey and quite the grind I gathered from the hour or two I spent in-game. But it seems more polished than most F2P MMO's. Considering there's a free local server it can't hurt giving it a shot :)

Rose is quite fun, with the release of the expansion its easier to get to the fun levels, once you reach lvl 50 and get your cart the game is much more fun :D

I'm busy playing Runes of Magic at the moment, it's definitely the most polished free to play MMO i've ever played.
