British actor Tom Hiddleston could land the lead in a new movie adaptation of ‘The Crow’, according to a report.

According to Thewrap.com, Hiddleston - known for playing Loki inThor and The Avengers - has already done a make-up test to play Eric Draven in the James O'Barr remake by Relativity Media.

The part of the rock guitarist who comes back from the dead to get revenge for the deaths of him and his wife was to be played by Bradley Cooper, then Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg and finally James McAvoy.

It seems that Spanish director F. Javier Gutierrez will direct Hiddleston in the remake of this 1994 movie starring Bruce Lee's son, Brandon Lee, who died during filming.

Since then, sequels have been made with Vincent Perez and Eric Mabius in the lead role.

The Crow is one of my all time favourite movies, I don't know if I should be excited or scared that they're going to make a mess of it... Brandon left some very big shoes to fill.

Oh for the love of......why the hell remake it ?
yeah I'm thinking remake wasn't the best way to go here, the original was brilliant. if it ain't broken don't fix it. rather make a decent sequel then cause City of Angels, Salvation and that last one's who's name shall not be mentioned was pure shite!

No need to remake "The Crow", it's fine as it is. Rather point your guns to Spawn if you *have* to remake a comic book based movie.
