UPDATE: Early we erroneously reported that Shred Session, a Tony Hawk mobile game, had been cancelled. That is not the case. The game has been postponed, not cancelled.
Tony Hawk, arguably the greatest vert skater of all time and the namesake of the classic Tony Hawk's Pro Skater franchise, has taken to Twitter to let the world know he's working on a new game.

This comes after a tweet where Hawk announced that Tony Hawk's Shred Session, a mobile game first announced in the spring, is on hold indefinitely. His follow-up tweet, clearly meant to excite those disappointed by the postponement, said "I’m currently working with Activision on a console game for 2015," and that fans of the Pro Skater series will be hyped.

Activision confirmed with us that they are working with Hawk on upcoming console and mobile titles, and they'll provide more information "when it becomes available."

I just hope they can bring back the glory days of Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2... Nothing beats that skater even today in my opinion...

I bought the THPS HD on PS3, played it for a while, but it's more difficult than I remember from my college days.
