That statement makes no sense even in the context of this article.WTF did i just read!? The future looks bleaker by the day for non-blacks..
Clearly though, sensationalist rhetoric drives the public opinion more tangibly than well reasoned thoughts and arguments. Just going by the reactions they have already received from this why would they even want to try a different tactic.
A topic i'd rather not get into...
Yeah that's the primary issue. When you know that something will work, regardless of the ethics of the matter, it's difficult to want to change your approach to something. In this case good journalism. It's a bit of a catch 22. News outlets make sensationalist news because viewers read that the most. Viewers like sensationalism so the news outlets write those kinds of articles. Unfortunately I don't see this changing, until something changes that makes people prefer levelheadedness and not sensationalism.
It makes me quite annoyed because this is the information age. Keeping yourself ignorant or reading complete tosh should not be happening. People hardly ever fact check, and take whatever information that gets dished out with open mouths. They just accpet whatever they're told as fact.
This post is so deep, it really contributes to the discussion. [emoji14]
