From Tony Jaa's wiki page...
Now, seeing as he has only been the star in around 4 films that I know of... how could he possibly be there or thereabouts witht hose legends of martial arts cinema? Seriously people, this isn't about who is a better fighter - it's about who has had a large impact on the movie genre. I totally agree with the top 3, though I think that they could have put in that fat dude which appears in all the chinese made martial arts films. He is legend
Sonny Chiba is an awesome one though. I mean he is truly legendary

Tony Jaa was raised in a rural area and as he grew up he watched films by Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li at temple fairs, which was his inspiration to learn martial arts.
