Top 20 selling PC games for Feb

WoW must die now. It's time. 10 million x R300 (roughly) = :eek: PLUS subs = MORE :eek:

And sims = WTF?! This must be the chick (ala carguard) and kiddie brigades or something... more :eek:

Pleasant surprises are DoWII, Left 4 Dead, Fallout 3, CoD:WaW and F.E.A.R. 2 (ok, last 2 is less pleasant)
 
Left 4 Dead and Fallout 3 being the only ones according to me that deserve to be there.

Have not tried DOWII yet
 
Have people noticed how classic BattleChest and Diablo packs always return to these listings, and then of course there is that game called Sims.
 
I've seen this countless times. Games that have quite a couple of predecessors, just before the release all the old ones are bundled at a vastly reduced price in anticipation of the new title, and they usually do sell quite well.

Thats exactly right. Then all the people who buy them think they're getting lucky, they see the new version and kick themselves.

/Dangit Mom!! I want the SIMS 3 also!!! (I think thats The Sims only market)
 
Talk about milking a franchise for all it's worth.

Although, there was some enjoyment to be had from putting people in the pool and then removing the steps.
 
I never trusts these lists since they don't include steam,direct2drive and the other digital distributors into their figures. Seeing as theirs a huge trend in the US from pc gamers make use of these services these figures are useless if they don't include these services.

From the last article you will see the trend that pc gamers in the US uses digital downloads. NPD doesn't track these services and even those they sort of track are inaccurate or not complete. Hence these figures are correct for retail but since the market has switched to digital distribution the figures aren't accurate.
