Toshiba or laptop tecnical help please

Hi guys just a quick on I dont know if this is a toshiba problem or I am just a dork, but I can use the @ key symbal every time I hold shift and press 2 it gives me a " symbal, has this happened to anyone and how can I fix this, PLEASE ADVICE

Use the ENG US keyboard layout
You'd get that if your Keyboard Region was set to EU
EU = Shift + 2 for @ and shift + @ for "

Where the hell would I go to find that and change it, thanks for the help so far I think thats whats wrong cause the guy I got it from did a whole factory restore and I think this is a EU edition
 
You'll have to go and experiment with changing your Keyboard Input and Layout
Control Panel // Clock Language and Region // Region and Language
Keyboard Tab
 
I am not having much luck But I am sure it is that, why cant thing ever just work the way you want them to ahhh :mad:
