totally off topic, I am being stalked by the TV license people

They have the wrong details on their systems, aka they are looking for a Mrs Baduza. They are phoning from 011 062 3653/011 062 1972 on a daily basis. I answer and I get this irritating recording telling me to pay my account and I will get a R500 shoprite voucher.

I need this to stop, I am gatvol of it now for the past 4 months. Any idea what I can do?

Ps - I dont own a tv so there is no license on my name at all

Redirect the numbers calling you to another number, or get Truecaller and just block those 2 numbers so they don't even ring on your side.
 
Just block the number. Your phone should have the option to block any number in the call log.

I have truecaller, It rings once, and I still get the sms's daily as well. I rather find a proper solution since blocking it hasnt worked
 
Had something similar from a collection agency, after I gave them an ass handing they explained that MR whoevertheF@#! had used my number at some point to register and because numbers get recycled they are calling me.

I have had my number for probably 20 years if not more ,so whatever .

They have not bothered me again though, they also told me I would need to contact the SABC myself to get it fixed.

problem with them is because I am not Mrs Baduza I cannot change my number - or get mine removed, even tho I have sent them proof that the number is in my name with my id and all

What you do is track down Mrs Baduza and get her to pay her tv licence. Problem Solved.

Also why are you sending strange people your ID?

Sent it to the TV license people who insisted that is what they needed to prove my number is mine - was such fun, had to get a certified copy made with my vodacom bill
