Touchscreen malfunction

Hey! I bought an entry level smartphone(HuaweiY220) about a month and a week ago. Last week Thursday the touchscreen started giving my problems. It started-off by selecting things on its own, like going to settings and selecting options till it ran out of anything to select or just freez for a brief moment, swipe from left to right etc. I read on some forum and guys with Nexus', Samsungs, LG's and HTC's are having the same problen. What i want to know is, has anyone in here ever experienced the same problems and what are the solutions(if any) or should i take it back?

Capacitive touch screen... Seems like the circuits at the corner of the screen are borked, Basically a capacitive has 4 little electronic circuit generators that generate a current and them pick up "touch" it then transfers the current it to the screen, it sounds like it's building charge when it's not supposed to then making the screen bug out.

30 days and a week, is out of the OOBF period, going to have to book it in for repairs. I pray for your sake that it's not Vodacom...

LOL. No, got it at a PEP Store(only store that sold it) with MTN sim. Thanks, i guess taking it in is the best option.

I'd also recommend taking it back in for repairs. Hope you have a back-up handy for the next good couple of weeks.
