So Trion (Makes of Rift and Defiance) has announced their new game Trove.

Looks like a fun game to play when you need a break from your normal MMO.

Cubeworld was pretty fun, but lack of content and proper multiplayer let it die too quickly, along with the dev pretty much abandoning it, Im interested to see how this type of game will be when backed by a proper dev.

Agree with you, Cubeworld was looking great and had some fun but the dev side is very very slow and not really worth it for me, in the other side Starbound is way better and better dev team making the game great.

But i am looking forward to Trove seems like something i would enjoy as well.

Yea I've backed them already for like $5, so when they start the next round of Alpha I'll be able to give it a bash.

oh nice! did not even noticed that you can back them, do you know when they will send out invited for the next batch?

Just checked my email and got my Alpha Key, so will D/L it and give it a bash and see how it compares to Cube World :S
